Deborah D’Orazi is a Project Coordinator at the Crime and Justice Policy Lab. In this role she is assisting partners in Baltimore build and implement GVRS (Group Violence Reduction Strategy). Prior to joining CJP, Deborah was a consultant for the Community Safety Initiatives team at Everytown for Gun Safety and served in the New York City Service Corps at the Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice. A graduate of the Marxe School of Public and International Affairs at CUNY Baruch and the Rutgers School of Social Work, she has interned at various organizations like the National Network for Safe Communities and specializes in the intersection of policy, trauma, and violence.
