Kate Barreth

Kate Berreth is an undergraduate student at the University of Pennsylvania studying Criminology and Political Science. Her research interests include the death penalty, juvenile justice reform, and conviction integrity. Prior to working with CJP, she worked as an intern for the Center for Death Penalty Litigation.

In 2022, Kate was selected for CJP’s competitive fellowship program funded through the School of Arts and Science’s Making a Difference in Global Communities grant. As a fellow, Kate will be working with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA) to support their current research projects in Mexico through data collection and analysis.
