Miguel Garza Casado is the Senior Data Scientist at the Criminology department of the University of Pennsylvania and Research Fellow at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office DATA Lab. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in Mexico City, He earned his master’s degree in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago and earned his Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University. Miguel was formerly a Graduate Research Intern for the Mexico Institute of the Wilson Center, a Research Associate at American Institutes for Research (International, Development, Evaluation and Research) and Advisor to the Minister of Finance in Mexico.
