Ayanna Miller is a doctoral student at the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University, originally from New York City. Ayanna’s research interests include racial justice, policing, pretrial justice and evidence-based policy. Prior to arriving at Northeastern, she served as a research assistant at the Center for Policing Equity, as a Presidential Intern at the Brennan Center for Justice, and as a policy intern at the New York City Department of Corrections.
