Britte is a SSRC Criminal Justice Innovation Postdoctoral Fellow. She earned her Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Pennsylvania, where she also obtained her M.A. in Statistics. Her research focuses on how prison conditions and policies affect in-prison and post-release outcomes. She is a researcher on the Crime and Justice Policy Lab’s The Last Mile Evaluation.
Before moving to the US, Britte managed a large-scale peer support program in prisons in the UK and Ireland. She also served as an independent monitor of two immigration removal centers.
